Is there some kind of behind-the-scenes power struggle going on here? If so maybe we should give it time to see how things play out. Given that US forces are already overstretched, instead of launching military action against the BBC we could try and encourage peaceful change from the bottom up, with a combination of targeted sanctions and support for opposition groups.

I don't know, even if they were to pass resolutions, whether regime change is possible by peaceful means at the BBC.
Maybe the BBC was just changing the content in time for American Breakfast viewing. -Tex
